This past week, the U.S. House of Representatives approved legislation that would prohibit credit cards and other payment forms from being used to settle Internet wagers. The legislation – now headed to the Senate - would allow law enforcement officials to work with Internet providers to block access to gambling web sites. Horse racing and state-run lottery sites would be exempt. (AP)
