According to a new AP-Ipsos poll, Americans dislike the idea of lying – even though they view some lies as an acceptable, or even necessary, part of life. A majority of respondents said that lying is never justified. But in the same poll, up to two-thirds said lying is justified in certain situations – like when protecting someone’s feelings. (AP)
